Why Clackamas roofs need care

Rain, shade, and moss are a familiar combination.

In Clackamas, roof exposure varies by property: tree cover, shaded roof planes, and drainage patterns can all influence moss growth.

Orbit Soft Wash uses a roof treatment approach designed to address organic growth without blasting the roof with high pressure. We assess roof conditions before recommending service.

Our process

Roof treatment that works with time, not force.

Our goal is to treat the growth and let weathering do the gradual cleanup.

01 / INSPECT

Review roof conditions

We consider roofing material, pitch, access, and moss coverage before treatment.

02 / TREAT

Apply at low pressure

A targeted soft wash treatment addresses moss and algae without aggressive pressure.

03 / WEATHER

Allow natural breakdown

Treated moss dies, loosens, and gradually breaks down with rain and seasonal weather.

Long-term protection

More than a one-day cosmetic change.

Moss does not always disappear immediately after application. The treatment continues working as dead growth gradually releases from the roof.

We generally expect around 3–5 years before significant moss regrowth, although shade, moisture, and nearby trees affect each roof differently.

Qualifying roof cleaning work is covered by our 3-year moss-free warranty, subject to warranty terms.

Common questions

Clackamas roof cleaning FAQs.

How much does roof cleaning cost in Clackamas?+

Roof cleaning typically ranges from $0.35 to $0.85 per square foot. The final estimate depends on roof size, pitch, access, material, and moss coverage.

Will the moss be gone as soon as treatment is finished?+

Not always. The treatment kills moss, which then loosens and breaks down naturally with rain and weathering. Results continue developing over time.

Do you pressure wash the roof?+

No. Our roof moss treatment is applied at low pressure to avoid aggressive high-pressure cleaning.

How long will my roof stay clean?+

Results vary with shade, moisture, tree cover, and roof condition. We generally expect around 3–5 years before significant moss regrowth, depending on the roof’s conditions.

Is there a warranty?+

Our 3-year moss-free warranty applies to qualifying roof cleaning work, subject to warranty terms.

Can you treat my roof type?+

We assess the roofing material and its condition before recommending treatment. Contact us to confirm eligibility for your roof.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jacob cleaned our gutters and removed moss from our roof. He went above and beyond--changing out a long screw that was blocking one of our downspouts--and sharing photos of the work he did. Moreover, Jacob has the best personality. We cannot recommend him highly enough :)

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jacob did a great job of doing a soft power wash on my home and cleaning my exterior windows. He was prompt and very responsive. A great guy who was a pleasure to do business with. My son stopped by the following day and said the house looked like it had just gotten a fresh coat of paint.
